> "Santiburi Samui is a good, honest golf course. It uses the hillside setting really well, giving you a mix of challenging and forgiving holes without overdoing the elevation. The greens were in good shape, and the course overall feels well looked after. It’s a nice place to spend a few hours if you enjoy a round that keeps you thinking.  I played here with some golfers on a Fairways of Eden trip, and everyone had a positive impression. The atmosphere is quiet and easygoing, and the course feels different enough from the typical resort layouts to make it stand out. A solid round and worth trying while on the island."

> "More than your typical resort course: Playing from Blue there are several intimidating tee shots. Fairways are firm and well kept so are the tricky greens, which are faster than they appear (and faster than the practice green which is sub-standard). I was grateful for the knowledgeable caddies giving advice on aim points and green slopes. Last but not least the selection of rental clubs is very good. All in all  very pleasant days in beautiful setting. And the view from the clubhouse terrace is something else."
