Book a Sea View villa for total privacy and amazing views It really is an oasis of calm in a busy city Easy walk to town and all the bars and restaurants The hotel foo right on the beach is excellent too. This is my second time visiting this hotel. This time for 12 days. Wish I could stay longer. The service from the staff here is beyond any I have experienced anywhere else without it being intrusive. My fiancée and I stayed in a pool villa with an ocean view, and the room was incredibly spacious, private, and luxurious. The size of the villa alone was impressive, and it felt like the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Our private pool was warm and refreshing, while the main resort pool was cooler and perfect for escaping the heat. The resort itself was quiet and serene, which made our stay feel even more special. The service was absolutely worthy of 5 stars, and every part of the experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. The private beach access directly from the resort offered stunning views and added even more to the sense of exclusivity and relaxation. Ammatara Pura Pool Villas is honestly one of the most beautiful and unique resorts we have ever visited in Thailand — and after many years of traveling to Koh Samui, this place still feels magical every single time. The entire resort looks like a luxurious Thai palace mixed with a tropical movie set. The traditional Thai architecture is absolutely stunning and gives the whole property a royal, authentic atmosphere you simply do not find in modern standard hotels anymore. Everywhere you look: beautiful details, palm trees, elegant villas and postcard views. The location is unbeatable — directly at the dreamy Lamai Beach with soft sand, turquoise water and those famous Koh Samui sunsets that make you forget what day it is. The beach area is quiet, clean and perfect for relaxing. The pool area? Simply WOW. Crystal clear water, super clean, peaceful and incredibly photogenic — basically Instagram heaven without even needing a filter. The villas and rooms are huge and beautifully designed in authentic Thai style. Some even come with private pools, making you feel like Thai royalty for a few days. The beds are super comfortable, the service is outstanding and everything feels spacious, elegant and relaxing.  The staff deserves 10 stars instead of 5. Everyone is incredibly warm, friendly and genuinely caring. But one person stands out especially: Mr. Dan. This man is an absolute legend. He literally reads guests’ wishes before you even say them out loud. Always smiling, always attentive, always professional — service at its absolute finest. Food and drinks are another highlight: * Delicious fresh breakfast every morning * Fantastic cocktails with real vacation vibes * Amazing Thai cuisine * Fresh chilled natural coconuts that are dangerously addictive in the tropical heat * And the absolute superstar dessert for my wife Zora: Mango Sticky Rice. Honestly… WOW. The presentation alone deserves a Michelin star for happiness.
