“Excellent advice and a very warm welcome”
“Contrary to the reviews posted, I didn't have a good experience with this particular agency. The group has three agencies, if I understand correctly, and I transferred my contract to another broker. My main problem was the lack of information I received before signing. I asked as many questions as I could think of, but certain information specific to insurance rules wasn't provided. For example, after my initial insurance claim was denied, I asked to add the routine medical care option, and I was told it wasn't possible during the contract term. Having this information before signing the contract would have made me think twice about adding this option from the start. Following a second denied reimbursement, I emailed Ms. Bernet on November 3, 2023. I received her reply the next day stating that I don't have general medical coverage and therefore I'm not entitled to reimbursement for my second hospital expense (an MRI of my ankle ligaments and a specialist consultation to check if I need surgery). I replied the same day (November 4, 2023), and after she read my email 11 times, I still haven't received a response. Yes, they do know how many times an email has been read. So I wanted to cancel the contract since it doesn't suit my needs, but it's impossible to cancel during the first year—another piece of information that wasn't provided (perhaps it's written in tiny print in the insurance policy, which I only received after payment). I was hoping to reach an agreement with the agency, but with no response from them after 10 days, I decided to post this review. Yours sincerely”
