“We had breakfast. It was decent, but outrageously expensive for Thailand. Pi paid like 24 bucks each person for breakfast. Quality certainly did not match the price. But that's a resort for you. Place was gorgeous though. Great view, too.”
“Gorgeous location, restaurant is part of 5 star hotel. We took a canoe to their private beach and we seen locals catching fresh mussels! When we ordered from the restaurant I was craving seafood! We got the calamari to start, and it was very rubbery! You couldn’t break them, even if you pulled them apart! I ordered a seafood red curry as a main; when the waitress served them to me I asked if the mussels were fresh and she responded saying they were frozen. All the seafood was rubber! Overcooked and very overly priced! They took them off our bill. But I would highly recommend you do not dine here. Beyond the sea? More like beyond the frozen sea.”
“I stayed in shasa hotel for three days and had 8 meals in this restaurant, including breakfasts. This restaurant is well decorated and clean. I also like its name: beyond the sea. Only tried local Thai dishes, which taste great. Two staff are helpful.”
