“I can’t recommend Callis Café on Koh Samui highly enough! This is our second year in a row visiting, and every single time the experience has been absolutely perfect. The food quality is outstanding, every dish is prepared with real care and top ingredients. The chicken is made from proper chicken breast (you can truly taste the difference), and the pizza is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Even the cocktails are first-class and crafted to perfection. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The café combines a modern, cozy design with a stylish and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. On top of that, the service is exceptional. The staff are more than friendly, always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes the whole experience even more special. “I absolutely loved this place! ❤️ It was my first evening in Thailand, and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. The food was honestly perfect—super tasty and beautifully prepared—and the location is just a dream. What really made it special for me was the atmosphere. Everything felt so relaxed and welcoming. My personal highlight: they have a huge selection of games, which makes the whole experience even more fun and unique. Such a cool concept, amazing food, and a beautiful setting—I’ll definitely come back!”
“I love it ! ❤️ Even for Koh Samui—and the island scene in General—I honestly didn’t expect this level of quality. We picked this place for a welcome dinner after picking up my girlfriend from the airport, and she was just as impressed as I was. I wasn’t surprised—but still, this place exceeded my expectations once again. I’ve been on Koh Samui for two months now, and finding a restaurant with this level of ambiance and food quality is truly rare. The owner is exactly what you’d hope for, and the entire team—from the kitchen to the service—deserves a solid 10/10. Everything felt genuine and well thought out. I especially loved the concept of combining great food with a relaxed evening and board games—it’s such a cool and unique idea. I’ve been working in gastronomy for 17 years as a restaurant manager, and I was genuinely impressed. Thank you—and stay healthy. I’ll definitely be back!”

“The place is lovely, almost an out of place hidden gem. We passed it a few times and we had planned to go another place but weather being a bit rainy decided stick closer to our Villa and very glad we did. The owner was so friendly, had games to play at the table whilst waiting for food (we played Connect 4) the food was delicious I can highly recommend the Cali Burger. In terms of cost little higher than some places around it BUT the quality of the food the ambience and how much the owner really cares makes it more than worthwhile. We paid the same for a meal on the beach watch Sunset and the quality of the food there was no where close to this. So please do stop by and enjoy a lovely meal and host (opens from 5pm).”
