“Rides typically begin at base camp, lead through local jungle and gardens, and open onto Laem Yai Beach. A major highlight for me and I daresay most people, is the opportunity to ride the horses into the clear ocean water. We did the 0700 times lot which worked out great as we were the only two riding at the time so it felt like a personal horse riding tour. As this is situated on the western side of the island, sunsets here would be amazing riding the horses in the ocean with the sun setting. Check time times. At high tide the water is right in but makes for no less a ride as it was such a wonderful experience riding the horses in the ocean. Low tides should provide a lot of extra riding space. The stable caters to all levels. Beginners can be led by friendly staff, while advanced riders may be allowed to gallop if they demonstrate sufficient control. Staff happily took high-quality photos and videos for us during the ride, and at no extra cost.”

“Went for an 8.30 morning ride. Was absolutely amazing for a beginner rider. They have riding of all levels but Zoe was a great teacher and made me feel completely at ease riding my horse Sky. We were explained the story of how the horses are actually rescues and saved from the slaughter house which made me feel even better about riding with Colts. The trail itself was beautiful and riding through the shallow sea was one of the prettiest sights I’ve ever seen. The Thai local instructor Nicky who was accompanying us was also great fun. Overall amazing experience. If you’re in Koh Samui this is the perfect horse riding experience.”
“Such an amazing experience! I had the 7:00 morning ride and I was the only one with the guide. As I am experienced it was a wonderful one hour ride full of trotting and cantering. The owner was very lovely and kind, when I asked if there is a chance for me to get a bigger horse as I am 180cm, he allowed me to get one. The horses were beautiful and clean, completely new equipment and it was really amazing! The guide Nicky was also very lovely, made the ride fun and exciting. Definitely a highlight of the trip! The horse Pawan was a sweetheart, very well behaved and I listened instantly to every signal I gave him. 🐴🫶🏼”
“Me and my boyfriend had a sunset riding, the workers were really nice, guiding and welcoming. The horses were so cute. It was my first time riding so they gave me a smaller horse named sudu. The horses kept in a good condition and looked healthy. It’s is very important for us cause a lot of places are non ethical . Overall it was an amazing experience you must do!! We will definitely come back!!”
“Had a very very happy horse riding session with them. It’s such a surprise that the horses thread into shallow waters and they are so well behaved! I am a new rider and I didn’t feel scared at all. The volunteers there are extremely helpful as well. I totally recommend this to be one of your activities in Koh Samui! Had the time of my life and I will do it again anytime anyday. I was also late for my session and they were so kind to still schedule me in for the next group of riders. Thanks so much!”
