“Very unassuming and chilled out seaside bar and restaurant. Small but very friendly crowd of locals and expats and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The owner and his wife both took the time to introduce themselves and chat with us which we appreciated. There is seating inside the restaurant or on the beach and they have a separate bar area showing sports. There were a lot of dogs lounging around which may put some customers off but as my wife and I are both dog lovers this just enhanced the homely family vibe. The informal atmosphere did not prepare us for the food which was genuinely fantastic. I had the grilled white snapper with the mango salad and chips (nice and chunky) and it was delicious. Wifey ate the seafood salad and we both had the exact same dish on our second visit. They also do Sunday roasts here but we missed it this time round.”
“Love this place! It has a cool, local, beachy vibe with friendly staff and amazing food. The dishes were so tasty, authentic and generous in size, at great prices. We came for happy hour, stayed for dinner and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset. The owner is an awesome guy who made us feel so welcomed and made sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommend this great beach bar.”
“Exilir is a fantastic spot with a stunning view and really great, unique food. We got the squid spaghetti curry which was so rich and creamy, the catch of the day fish which was barracuda and came with papaya salad that fit so well it was so fresh and delicious, and a curry which was also amazing. Everything was bursting with flavor, the atmosphere was so beautiful and we hung around on the bean bags, lounge chairs, and hammocks for a few hours just watching the view, reading, napping, and it was such a great place to do that. They play nice chill music too. Highly recommend.”
“An amazing place to stop off, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed. The breeze off the sea is much needed comfort. The owner has a tiny bird who might come visit your table, it’s very cute. There is ample parking around and the prices are very good for the look and feel of the establishment.”
