“This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The bungalows are modern, well equipped with very comfortable beds. We didn’t have a beach front bungalow, but the complex is small so this isn’t an issue. Cleanliness is very good, with housekeeping everyday. The pool area is great with a good, but little pricey bar with good cocktails. The breakfast is a small buffet, but the food quality is good. Staff service is very good and they are friendly and polite. The highlight here is the pool and views right on the beach. Location isn’t amazing if you don’t have a scooter and there is a HUGE hill to get to the hotel.”

“This place is definitely not a resort. The staff barely speaks to you, let alone English. They weren’t friendly, it felt like they don’t want to be there. Our bungalows were more like camping, not like hotel. There was a barely any space inside and we had mould in the shower. The floor was rotten and puffed from the humidity which scratched our feet all the time. When you lay by the pool there is constantly Ibiza-lounge music with bass overstimulating you. The only positive aspects for us were the view of the sea and friendly ladies working at the cafe. There are a lot of young families with kids who are very active and loud around the beach/pool area. So keep it in mind if this is not the environment you need. The hotel is located quite far away from everything, so scooter is recommended as walking would take around 30 minutes to the main road.”
“Dear Escape Hotel, Your location is truely amazing. The views and the beach make it feel like your in paradise. The interior of room was nice, just a smaller room. But that was no problem for us. For the team working in Escape; you can make a big diffrence in the experience of the guest. It’s the first time in Thailand staff was this level of not interested and actually rude to us (If I read the reviews we are not the only ones). If this place is trying to make the experience a 10, try to laugh more. Communicate pro-active with your guest, and smile!!!! It’s not only worth it for the guest expierence, but also for your own working day. Try to make a little fun/enjoy. The working culture feels really down in this place. When fixing this issue the place has a lot of potention to make this a 5 star accomodation.”
“Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The staff at both reception and the bar were consistently rude, unfriendly, and dismissive towards both me and my partner throughout our stay. Simple interactions were met with eye rolling and an attitude that made us feel unwelcome the entire time. The worst part was at the end of our stay when we were clearly in a rush to get to the airport. Staff stopped us and accused us of stealing a laundry bag. We repeatedly explained that we had never taken it and even offered for them to search our luggage, but they refused and instead continued insisting we pay for a replacement. After arguing with us for a long time and causing unnecessary stress before our flight, they suddenly claimed they had “found” the bag after previously saying they could not find it anywhere. There was no apology for the false accusation or the way we were treated. The hotel itself may be fine, but the behaviour and attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience for us. I would not return or recommend staying here based on how unprofessionally we were treated.”
“We had a seafront unit which was small but nice...waterfront view. But there was garbage and dog poop on the beach out front our unit. The resort's both sides of us had no garbage because they clean it up. I told oue front desk about it but they did nothing. This tells me the owners dont care about their guests or Quality. Resort is in a location difficult to get to on road or the beach”
