“Food Lab is an Italian restaurant in Lamai, Koh Samui, specialized in authentic Roman cuisine and isbest known for its signature Porchetta (traditional Italian roast pork) and handmade pasta. Other favorites include Black Truffle Ravioli, Gnocchi, and authentic Pizza Alla Romana made with 48-hour aged dough for easy digestion. It us best described as a small, cozy, and casual "street-side" spot with an intimate feel.”
“Lived on the island almost 2 years now, I’ve tried pizza in so many places and the dough is always off. This is the only spot with the perfect dough and crust. Roman style pizza and absolutely delicious. So it has my vote as best pizza in Samui. And I know my pizza, as a chef myself but also growing up outside of NYC. If you like it cheesy ask for extra cheese. Coming back soon for more pizza and to try their homemade pasta!! This restaurant deserves to be packed for their food and great service!!”
“We've travelled for almost a month now in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand and that was the best food we've had so far on our trip. We've ordered Porchetta with salad and one of the specialty of the day pizza with guanciale and potatoes. The Porchetta was cooked to perfection and is definitely the best porchetta we've ever tried. The pizza was outstanding too. Never tried pizza with potatoes before but fell in love with it. Guanciale is one of my favorite ingredients for pizza but in combination with truffles and potatoes and crispy dough, honestly it was out of this world. I have no words to express how impressed we were and definitely going back for another meal to try some more. House white wine was really crispy and fresh and as a complimentary drinks we've got shots of lemoncello which was also very good balanced, just the right amount of sweet and sour, nicely chilled. Service was also brilliant. Mastery of cooking. Strongly recommend.”
“THE BEST PIZZA I’ve ever had. Four people are here, each with an alcoholic beverage, three salads and a pizza for 1000 baht. We had the Salsiccia, home-made sausage on it and just wonderful Gorgonzola… sadly it was our last night so we couldn’t visit again. This place is worth returning to Samui for.”
