“Green bird used to be a staple of our annual Samui trip. First found the place around 2012 after a Lonely Planet recommendation. 2026 was our first visit since COVID. And absolutely did not disappoint. A little off the main track which is great to avoid crowds. The place is clean, airy and comfortable. The staff are always super friendly. And the food… Best I can describe is mainland prices, and almost local price at that… almost.. 80THB for garlic pepper pork and rice as an example. Food is prompt, fresh and delicious. And try their cocktails. Couldn’t tell you what is in it, but 2 time bombs let you know you are alive.. Highly recommend”

“Highly recommend!!! You have to come here! We ordered a TON of dishes and honestly every single one was the best we’ve eaten in Thailand. Usually I can always find something that’s not quite enough for me, but here… everything was absolutely amazing. What’s even crazier: I ate not far from here at a two Michelin star restaurant, and this place was better in every way taste, quality, portions, and overall vibe. Even with the restaurant fully packed, the waiting time was super fast, portions were big, prices were really good, and the service? The best I’ve experienced in Thailand smiles, speed, everything on point. I’m 100% coming back. 🔥🇹🇭”

“What a hidden little gem this place is, located down the lane way in between market stall shops, just off the main street. Authentic Thai food at its best and so cheap. You won't be disappointed so put this on your list of must do places to eat in Chaweng, Koh Samui. My Pad Thai with chicken was $100THB so $5AUD and was one of the best I've had.”
