Green Light Village is an absolute gem in Koh Samui! Patrick, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming. Gun, the manager, is fantastic, and Nooky and the rest of the team are simply perfect. Everyone speaks excellent English, which makes everything easy and comfortable. The value for money is unbeatable. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it truly doesn’t lack anything. The rooms are simple, very clean, and everything works perfectly. The pool is great, the atmosphere is peaceful and family-like, and you’re just a two-minute walk from the beach. The bar serves simple food made with real care and amazing quality — you can really taste the love put into it. In short: unbeatable quality-price ratio in a perfect location. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a review of the cafe. I had met Patrick earlier in the afternoon while strolling the street so we returned for supper that evening. We had a nice table by the pool; we were one of two tables being served. The ambiance and setting was very nice. Our server arrived to take our order with no extra words- no hello, no introduction, nothing to say about the menu or any specials (if there were any), pretty much just Flat. His mango shake was Thick(like pudding, he said) but it eventually thinned. The Chicken Salsa Wraps were tasty. Would have helped if the chicken chucks were cut smaller and distributed throughout vs a chunk here and there. His Teriyaki Salmon over Glass Soba noodles- he said the salmon was the tastiest he’s had in FV. The glass soba noodles had a kick to them that he wasn’t expecting so wasn’t really able to enjoy them. Overall the food, even though it took a bit to get to us, was Fresh and the presentation was lovely. The server didn’t come to check on us, ask if we needed anything else, didn’t offer dessert. We actually had to get up and head to the front to pay while the five server staff watched us. Also, disappointing that Patrick who was at the front counter when we arrived, didn’t bother to stop at our table to even chat for a moment. There was no one seated for supper when we left; he was still at the front counter/bar talking to two seated people. Attitude...Small thing but a nice touch; they missed that. We had met people on the same afternoon who also talked with Patrick as he invited us to his Salsa lesson and dance. After a long day, they did make it back to say hello and check it out, but left disappointed as he didn't even acknowledge their presence. We spent 600-800thb per person. They do take credit cards.

I ONLY RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT!! I WAS NOT A HOTEL GUEST Very nice restaurant with many food options. My partner and I had a great experience, and they also have many tasty gluten-free choices. Thank you for the excellent service.
