“Fantastic beach house, conveniently located nearby some great beachside restaurants and coffee shops. Davide and team looked after us very well. Daily breakfasts and the staff can prepare lunch and dinner if needed. Magnificent beachside deck and kitchen/diner/pool room where we ended up spending most of the time. There is a separate living room with large TV. Good sized swimming pool with a jacuzzi function at one end but we mostly swam in the sea.”

“I have traveled to many places around the world, and as a mother of seven children, I have extensive experience with all kinds of accommodations. However, this home truly exceeded all my expectations – it is absolutely at the very top. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos. It is luxurious, thoughtfully designed, and finished with stunning details. Everything was perfectly clean, and we didn’t encounter any insects at all (only a few small lizards, which is completely normal here). The level of cleanliness and maintenance was exceptional. David’s team is absolutely outstanding. Every single person who took care of us was professional, kind, and attentive – I didn’t have a single complaint. The food was incredible. They prepared anything we wished for, and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner for an entire week for seven children – who are quite picky eaters – and everything was consistently delicious. In all my previous stays around the world, there has always been at least a small issue – whether it was water pressure, air conditioning, or something minor not working properly. Here, everything functioned perfectly. Not a single flaw. David himself is a truly wonderful host – kind, generous, and always willing to help, even beyond what is expected. It was always a pleasure to see him, smiling and full of great recommendations on how to enjoy our time and who to contact for anything we needed. We even had massage therapists come directly to the house, which was amazing, and the staff helped take care of our baby so that I could enjoy meals in peace. This level of care is something I have rarely experienced. During our stay over New Year’s, there was an unexpected accident – a car crashed into the wall of the house, damaging part of the property and the water system. The team handled it with incredible professionalism. Everything was fixed almost immediately, and we didn’t even notice any disruption. They continued working on repairs throughout the week, yet our comfort was never affected. This experience only highlights how professional and well-organized David’s team truly is. I am beyond satisfied, and I genuinely believe that we will be returning here with our family again and again. Marketa”

“Kalamari Villa is a very special place. This large five bedroom home has great internal and external space, immaculate furnishings and high-end fittings. There is a superb kitchen & dining area, sizeable pool, and well-appointed gym. The villa is perfectly situated on a quiet and clean stretch of beach-front, which gets the sunset and has great views of neighbouring islands: Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. It is just 30mins from the airport too ie close, but also far enough from bustling Bo Phut to escape the noise and crowds of the busier and most touristy parts of Koh Samui. Owner Davide is highly experienced, caring and provides great communication via WhatsApp. Meanwhile the lovely villa staff clean, tidy, wash and cook for you daily. They can help with your every need from picking up shopping to organising activities. With 3 or 4 people coming in from 9 to 4pm each day (not to mention the gardener and pool guy) it was like having a small army looking after our family of six; but at the same time they still manage to respect space and privacy effortlessly. The cooking deserves a paragraph of its own (see curry photos). It was phenomenal. Note that the daily rate includes an exceptional cooked breakfast already - with Western, Thai and Mexican dishes all catered for and delectable. We also paid to have dinner in the Villa every other night - it was actually quite a bit more affordable to do this than go out to dinner and the food itself was exceptional - Anna is a superb and creative chef. We stuck to Thai, but she and the team can do anything you ask for really. Lastly, just one point to be aware of is that two of the five bedrooms are in a separate annex, but this is so close it is almost connected (and by a private covered walkway). In fact this actually worked better for us as it meant we could leave an older member of our family with their own space if they wanted time to themselves. What more can I say, should we return to Koh Samui - unless we wanted to stay in the South - we would try to stay here again. It was perfect for us. We hope you enjoy it too.”
