Karma Resort Samui

We are staying in a 3 bedroom villa. Each bedroom is having an outdoor bathroom which is spacious and very comfy. The rooms are big and stylish and offering privacy. The outdoor space of the villa is large and offers a big pool and outdoor kitchen & barbie. Kitchen is fully equiped and we had already 2 cooking sessions. The atmosphere of the villa is cozy and relaxing and offers 100% privacy. Room service and staff is super friendly and brings the brekkie in the morning, which you order easily by whatsapp the evening before. The choice of breakfast is great and portions are far enough incl juice and coffee, tea. Restaurant offers international food (Pizza etc) besides Thai Food. Prices are absolutely reasonable ( of course street food is cheaper) but here you get full service, big portions, nice view. Beach is cleaned every day and sunbeds are always available. Sand is extremely nice as it is not the fine sand and the water is shallow to walk in. There is nothing to complain, one of our best stays in Thailand so far. Outside there is a brand new 7Eleven in 300m and a brand new karting track 500m. Additionally plenty of street food bars, excellent massage places and a cat coffee in short walking distance.

Beautifully designed and stylish hotel with stunning rooms. We loved the village-style layout of the complex and the sleek design. Really couldn’t fault anything here! Staff was overall very friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food was very good. However, there were a few minor details which could do with some improvement. The gym is very small and could be better equipped. After we’d settled our final bill, we were presented with additional charges for something which had been overlooked. This was a genuine mistake and is no big deal as such, but the member of staff didn’t extend us the courtesy of apologising for what was their mistake. We also found it inappropriate to see a senior member of staff smoking whilst working behind the bar. The sun loungers on the beach are very comfortable , but could have been spaced apart a bit more. And finally, this hotel should in my opinion be an adults only hotel, simply because the facilities are not really suitable for families. The pool area is rather small and there is no separate kids pool, which made it feel very crowded when there were a couple of families with kids. Overall, a truly beautiful hotel in a good location, but in some areas more attention to detail would be advantageous.

In February 2026 we held my daughter and son in law's wedding at the Karma Resort. Family and friends travelled from Australia, South Africa, the USA, etc. to attend the wedding. The families and many of the guests stayed at the Karma Resort. The wedding itself was magical, with the Karma staff doing everything possible to work with the wedding planner to make not only the wedding but our entire stay at Karma memorable. The rooms were beautiful, especially with the outdoor showers. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant food was excellent and the location, within walking distance of Fisherman's Village was very convenient. Overall, we were extremely happy that we chose the Karma Resort as the venue to host the wedding and the place for us to stay over the wedding period. Thank you to Yulia and the amazing staff.
