Kobori Sunset View

As an island resident, I’m always on the hunt for new favorite spots, and Samui Kobori is a total standout! This is easily some of the best Japanese food I’ve tasted—everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. ​We went for a sunset meal, and the atmosphere was perfect. Beyond the food, the staff are wonderful; they were so helpful and genuinely friendly throughout the evening. If you live on the island or are just visiting, you need to check this place out.

Reasonable pricing and yummy sushis. I have been here several times. The restuarant is right by the sea. Staffs are not the most service minded as you can see it was a little aggressive on serving miso soup, the soup spilled all the way down. Other than that everything was decent. Staffs are a little nicer (meaning neutral and not grumpy) when it isnt busy hours.

This is probably one of my favourite restaurants on the island of Samui. It’s on the main road near the ferry terminal in Nathon. It’s right on the water with an amazing sunset view. They also have a vegetarian menu that makes me feel like I’m still eating sushi 😂. We have been coming here for 10 years now and have never had a bad meal. The food is always fresh and the service is excellent. All meals look amazing when they come out of the kitchen. They have fresh Wasabi and it is truly delicious, though a little hot. Make sure you go at around the time of the sunset, it is truly a spectacular place to view it with the Ferries going in and out. Best sushi on the island in my opinion.
