“We had a very enjoyable dinner at La Lanterna Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and we received a friendly welcome from Nello and the team. We started with the mussels marinara, which were excellent, served in a rich tomato sauce that was perfect for dipping the fresh bread into. The parmigiana was also very enjoyable and tasted authentically Italian. For our main courses we both chose the seafood pasta, one with spaghetti and one with linguine. The dishes were generous in size and packed with seafood, including mussels, prawns, squid and clams. The tomato sauce was well balanced and complemented the seafood beautifully. We paired the meal with a bottle of Primitivo from Puglia, which was smooth, full-bodied and an excellent match for the food. To finish, we were kindly offered a limoncello, a lovely touch at the end of the evening. Overall, this was a very pleasant dining experience with good food, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. We would be happy to return and recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Koh Samui. Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“This is an amazing place, I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to write one. The pizza is the most delicious I've ever had, and the tiramisu is a delicate paradise. The only minor downside is the smell of cleaning products at first, but the pizza acts as a magic pill, eliminating it. It's also reassuring to know that the place is clean.”
“I wish it was acceptable to eat Italian every night on our Thai holiday. This food was to die for. Like many other reviews were staying at the Sheraton and wanted something outside the resort but close by. I needed gluten free because my husband saw the gnocchi and was set in going to La Lanterna. Not even mad that there was only one pasta option for me because it was THAT good. Service includes free bread.”
