“I recently trained at Legacy Muscle Universe and bought a 10-session pass. Honestly, this is the best gym in Koh Samui and probably even one of the top 10 bodybuilding gyms in Thailand. In terms of equipment and overall bodybuilding setup, I honestly think it’s the best-equipped gym on the island. Like many other reviews mention, this is a very bodybuilding-oriented gym with a huge amount of machines, which is great if you train seriously. You can tell a lot of people here are passionate about fitness and bodybuilding. There are many experienced lifters and bodybuilders training here, and the atmosphere feels focused and motivating. There are also a lot of foreigners and tourists, but that’s normal for Koh Samui. Even during the mornings the gym can get quite busy, which shows how popular the place is. I came in low season and I never saw the gym empty. The staff are also excellent — very friendly, smiling, professional, and constantly re-racking weights and keeping the gym clean and organized. For me, that makes a huge difference in the overall experience. The price is a little expensive honestly, but considering this is Koh Samui, I still think the pricing remains fair for the quality of the gym and equipment. I’ve been living in Bangkok for years, and honestly, even in Bangkok it is extremely rare to find a gym with this level of equipment and overall quality for this kind of price. I can count them on one hand. That’s something they should absolutely keep because it’s one of the gym’s biggest strengths. Overall, a very serious gym with excellent bodybuilding machines, a good atmosphere, and probably one of the best training environments on the island.”

“Hands down the best gym on Koh Samui. The space is huge, spotless, and fully air-conditioned — high ceilings, tons of room, and you never have to wait for a machine. The equipment is next-level: it’s kitted out with high-end Bench Fitness gear (the Australian brand), including plate-loaded machines and custom pieces you genuinely won’t find anywhere else in Thailand. Everything is new and maintained constantly. It’s so much more than a gym, too — there’s a proper podcast and photo studio, group classes (Power Pump, spin, BODYCOMBAT, yoga) led by great coaches, and a spa for recovery. Open 6 AM to 11 PM daily, which makes it easy to fit in around anything. But the thing that really sets Legacy apart is the staff. Genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming — you’re treated like family every single time MAKE THE BEST PROTEIN SHAKE ON THE ISLAND 🏝️ The crowd is a healthy mix of beginners and serious lifters, so it’s motivating without ever feeling intimidating. “This gym has everything you need in one place! The equipment is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of machines and free weights for all workout styles. I also love the variety of classes available — from yoga and Pilates to HIIT and strength training. The instructors are friendly, motivating, and make every class enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic, and perfect for both beginners and experienced gym-goers. Definitely one of the best gyms I’ve been to!”
“5 star gym easily. 400 baht for a day pass which we agree to be reasonable. Lots of high end machines, lots of dumbbells plenty of weight in here. Upstairs is full of cardio machines & more machines. Multiple studios including a posing room upstairs as well. Very clean & maintained facility, did not check out the spa but looked quite nice from afar. Staff were friendly, this place did not have a snobby feel whatsoever but very welcoming. Spoke with a few of the members who were training at the time we went very friendly people. This gym is a must & well worth the price every time. Lots of vehicle & or scooter parking available.”

The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and kind, creating a great atmosphere to train in. The price is also very reasonable and great value for money. Terry is especially kind and helpful.
