Little Coconuts Early Learning Center

We sent my 4-year-old grandniece to Little Coconuts Nursery in Samui for 3 weeks, and she absolutely loved it. She didn’t speak English at first, but she learned so quickly during her time there, which really amazed us. One thing we truly appreciated is that they have a camera feed, so parents and family can check in and watch from a distance, which gave us great peace of mind. The fees are affordable and include meals, which is a big plus. She’s now back in Malaysia, but she keeps asking if she can come back to this nursery again. That alone says everything. Highly recommended!

Don't enroll your children here if they don't speak English well. There was no support from the teachers or principal. My daughter didn't understand much, and it turned out the children were rude, teasing her, interrupting her play and tasks, and she was even hit a few times. When she defended herself, the children complained to the teacher, who yelled at my daughter. After all, it's easiest to blame someone who can't defend themselves. And my daughter couldn't say that someone hit her first. I spent two days on camera to confirm my daughter's words. There was a particular problem with one boy. I reported the problem to the principal, but she did nothing. My daughter asked the teacher not to sit next to the boy, but she still sat her next to him. My daughter was so stressed about preschool that she stopped eating, so after two and a half weeks, I took her out. Furthermore, for 5- and 6-year-olds, there's too much learning; children sit in front of the board for hours without moving. They squirm and fidget, and you can see they're hidden. Didn't you know that at this age, children need more exercise? They need the opportunity to exercise! Furthermore, they boast about healthy eating, and the feature provides sweets for children. The website also states that children have coconut water and juices available, but there was nothing like that; each child must share their own water. I don't recommend it!

Our son spent just over a year at coconuts as a 2-3 year old. We noticed over time great progression in his development, communication and all round behavior. A caring and safe environment, Sam and the team keep up the great work. Thank you.
