Mango Tree

Visited Mango Tree right after arriving at Koh Samui through the Lipa Noi ferry port and decided to have lunch here. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and relaxing, suitable for a first meal after the journey. We ordered the pineapple fried rice. The taste was decent, but it was slightly different from what we expected, as it was not served in the usual half-cut pineapple presentation. Unfortunately, the prawns in the dish were undercooked, which was disappointing and affected the overall experience. Service was acceptable and the location is convenient if you are arriving from the ferry port, but the kitchen definitely needs to pay more attention to food preparation quality.

Definitely worth stopping by for the coconut combo dessert – a true poetry of flavors. The kra prao is also very good. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous for local standards. The owners are always attentive and regularly check on the tables, which makes the experience even better.

The best food we have experienced whilst here in Thailand. Not only was the food incredible but the service was superb too. Very attentive from start to finish. Provided fans to keep us cool and even mosquito repellent too. The cocktails were amazing.
