Mira Mare Resort

I highly recommend it. The service is excellent, the people are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but most of the time you're outside anyway. The food there is also great, especially the Thai food. As for the location, in my opinion it's simply perfect. The beach is beautiful and you're quite centrally located. Lamai Beach gets deep quickly, even after just a few meters, and you can sometimes find some nice high waves. However, the water can also be very calm quite often. If you're looking for a good meal, there are many excellent restaurants in both directions, some less than a minute away. For activities like clubs or parties, you only have to walk 2-7 minutes. The travel agency is right next to the resort at the entrance, where you can book even better activities, such as island tours. Jet skis and other water sports are also just a 2-minute walk from the resort. If you get injured or anything happens, there's a doctor directly across the street from the resort, and if you need to do some quick shopping, there's also a 7-Eleven right there. And for massages there are enough places around too. Overall, I can highly recommend it and had absolutely no complaints.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The bungalows are brand new, modern, and exceptionally spacious – you immediately feel comfortable and at home. It’s clear that great attention has been paid to quality and comfort. The entire property has an idyllic, almost paradise-like atmosphere. The direct beach access is priceless – waking up with an ocean view and being just a few steps away from the water is simply amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive, making you feel truly welcome and well taken care of. The beachfront restaurant perfectly completes the experience, serving delicious and authentic Thai food in a stunning setting. This is a place where you can completely unwind and relax. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!

Had a two-night stay there in bungalow A06 which was pretty close to the sea and thus it was nice to hear the crashing waves to go to bed. The hospitality was great, the owner (Mira) is a wonderful person. The room was simple but comfortable enough. The bathroom had two hand-held showers, one warm and one not but with more pressure which was good when rinsing off after a swim in the sea. The Wifi worked well, which isn't always a given even these days. A good location in busy Lamai beach and still very quiet at night. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the Americano that I had was good. A great value stay on Ko Samui!
