“Paradise, and hospitality with heart Our stay at Napasai Samui was nothing short of exceptional. Before our arrival, we were confronted with a sudden and distressing medical emergency involving close friends in Bangkok. We reached out to the hotel to explore whether any flexibility might be possible with our dates. Initially, the situation was complex due to third-party booking policies and availability constraints. However, what truly sets Napasai apart is what happened next. The team, particularly Khun Ohm, reconsidered our request, reviewed availability again, and came back with a thoughtful, humane solution. They offered flexibility without penalties and even provided a complimentary upgrade for the first two nights. It was handled swiftly, elegantly, and with genuine empathy. In a moment of emotional stress, that kind of response matters enormously. And then we arrived. Paradise on earth. The setting is breathtaking: a peaceful private beach lined with palms, calm waters, space, privacy, and an atmosphere of understated luxury. No mass tourism feeling. No noise. Just serenity. Travelling with our 7-month-old son, we were welcomed warmly and allowed to use the facilities upon early arrival. The staff were consistently kind, attentive and sincere. Never forced, always authentic. Service throughout the stay was impeccable. The villas are beautiful and spacious. The food was excellent. The overall feeling was one of calm, privacy and genuine Thai hospitality. We understand the resort will close for extensive renovations in April/May 2026. We sincerely hope that whatever changes are made, the soul of Napasai — its tranquillity, elegance and human warmth — remains untouched. We wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering Koh Samui to book Napasai. It is rare to find a place that combines physical beauty with emotional intelligence in service. We will absolutely return.”
“We stayed at the Napasai Samui for a week in late March/early April 2026. We had a very enjoyable stay, and found the hotel to be everything that we hoped for. The rooms comprised lodges with fantastic sea views, were very comfortable and quiet spacious. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice, and was of a good standard. We dined in the hotel restaurant a few evenings, and found the food to be excellent. The pool and beach area were great, and there were sufficient kayaks, paddle boards and a Hobbies Wave catamaran for guest use. Just ideal. Saving the best for last; the staff were just fantastic!”
“We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. If you’re looking for something more quiet and relaxing, this is the perfect hotel for it. We stayed in a sea view villa which was very spacious and had gorgeous views of the sea. The hotel has its own private beach so you don’t have to worry about crowds. There were plenty of beds too. The food is incredible. I’d definitely recommend eating at their restaurant at least one night. We also ordered food to the beach a few days which was great. The location is a bit far from everything but that’s what we wanted so if you like privacy and quiet, this is a great hotel. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, a 7-eleven and some massage places so if you did want to get out without getting a taxi, it can be done. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.”
“Absolutely amazing resort. It was almost empty thanks to Hormuz and the low season. I loved that it is quiet and peaceful. Good sunset view. Good room. Tasty thai food in their restaurant. Good staff.”
