“This resort is gorgeous with all its lush plant and tree life everywhere. The resort is a little bit outdated compared to the photos they post. This resort has the best staff we have ever had at a hotel and we're warm and helpful the entire time even with our baby and when my wife hurt her leg. The resort is pretty steep with the lobby being at the top and the beach pool and restaurant being at the bottom but they offer golf cart rides everywhere. The resort is unfortunately hard to leave by foot because of the tight busy road outside with no sidewalk to the shops and restaurants so we took lots of short taxi rides which they call for you at least. The beach is a bit underwhelming but its calm and quiet. The pool is really nice to make up for the beach luckily. The restaurant had a very very good breakfast buffet but the food and drinks at the resort were way overpriced (294 baht for a cocktail with tax and automatic 10% tip). The food also has an automatic tip of 10%. We stopped eating at the resort after the second night and found much cheaper options elsewhere and limited our drinks at the pool due to poor value. The beds are also really hard and we found them uncomfortable. Other than that we had an incredible time at this wonderful place and enjoyed spending time with all the amazing staff. Thank you Nora Beach for a wonderful family vacation!”

“We went only for a lunch and drinks during Samui Regetta event. We didn’t get to see any boats but we loved the restaurant set up facing the beach. It was lovely. There were tiny bums during the service but, the professionalism after little communication about the discomfort during the food service were exceptional. They shone ⭐ Honestly, I appreciate it. The communication was incredible and efficient. The manager Mr. Joe and other guy, the chef (I believe) and FB teams and other team members were exceptional. We haven’t stayed there but for the food, especially dessert 🍨 and Iced Caramel Latte was amazing. I absolutely recommend. We would like to stop by again in the future for the dessert when we have family visits. It was lovely.”
“A big thank you to Michelle and the team for the warm Thai hospitality. This is my second time staying at this property and they have been phenomenal through and through. I would love to see a small refresh for some of the towels, pool linens and bathroom fixtures which are starting to show wear. Otherwise, my experience both stays was nothing short of world class which a lot of bigger, higher end hotels lack these days. The little things like a smile and the team making an effort to remember coffee orders at breakfast, asking about the activity you were telling them you were going to was. It’s these little touches which make it feel so much like home. Thanks again to the whole team at Nora for making me feel so welcome.”
“I had a wonderful stay at Nora Beach Resort & Spa. The resort is set in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, which creates a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is located directly on the beach, making it perfect for enjoying the sea at any time. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a great selection of food with a stunning view of the ocean—such a perfect way to start the day. The pool area was very calm and pleasant, ideal for relaxing, and the pool bar was excellent, especially with its great Happy Hour deals. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay, which made the experience even better. If I come back to Koh Samui, I will definitely stay at Nora Beach Resort again.”
“Review: Nora Beach Resort & Spa – Koh Samui Our stay at Nora Beach Resort was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we hoped for during our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we genuinely felt like we had arrived in paradise. We even said it out loud. After a great time in Bangkok, Koh Samui and this resort were exactly what we were looking for: a relaxed beach holiday with true paradise vibes. The short transfer to the hotel was very pleasant, and the first impression immediately confirmed it. The entire resort is beautifully designed in traditional Thai style, wooden roofs, natural materials, stunning sea views, elegant, authentic, and very welcoming. You instantly feel comfortable as a European traveler in Thailand. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the welcome drink set the tone right away. This is precisely the level of service you expect (and should expect) in this price category and it was delivered consistently. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, enjoyed the daily happy hour from 2–4 PM, and had excellent cocktails. Food was delicious throughout the stay, breakfast was included and very good, and ordering lunch directly to the sunbed was smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the pool staff, especially Rock, who provided outstanding service and truly made our stay special. Small details, genuine friendliness, and real attentiveness made a big difference. A great highlight was kayaking to the small island directly opposite the resort, using kayaks provided by the hotel. It felt like a little adventure on our own and was an unforgettable experience. We also booked a trip to Pig Island through the hotel. It was generally well organized, though at times the staff felt a bit over-controlling, and the speedboat ride was unnecessarily fast, which felt unsafe. That said, we were happy to return safely and still enjoyed the experience overall. In the evenings, we attended Muay Thai shows, which were very entertaining and well worth it. Outside the resort, we enjoyed massages, restaurants, and markets all over Koh Samui friendly people, good service, fair prices, and a very relaxed atmosphere everywhere. Conclusion: We were genuinely sad to leave Koh Samui. A heartfelt thank you to Nora Beach Resort, the entire team, and all staff members for making our honeymoon so special. We felt truly welcome and would absolutely return.”
