Oliver's Steakhouse Bar & Grill

Overall it was just a visit that didn’t meet the expectations I guess. The restaurant itself is just normal, nothing astonishing about it. I think the prices were pretty high for being Thailand. But the thing is, we can live with higher cost, and that the restaurant is not astonishing - but SERVICE is very important, which this placed really lacked. The staff didn’t welcome us, they didn’t seem happy to have customers. It felt like we were just a problem there to be honest…

We have eaten at Oliver's Steakhouse half a dozen times over the last two weeks. Everything we have eaten has been cooked to perfection, I recommend the ribeye, or just the beef patties, which if you are on a carnivore diet are a great choice. The staff are attentive, and the chef is very accommodating. Price is reasonable compared to a couple of steak houses at Fisherman's Village.

The steaks were mediocre compared to other places on the island. The set up is too open so the smoke from the grill overpowered the dining area. The owner is very nice. Overall, it's not on top of our return to spot.
