“Fantastic, authentic, soul food no doubt. Every dish was absolutely on point - the best meal we had in Samui. Can't say the same about the service sadly. We were made to wait unnecessarily (almost like a punishment) when we can clearly see several empty tables. We had to repeatedly immediately asked for mosquito spray as we were getting bitten incessantly. The waitor can even make a joke that "oh the mozzies r crazy and so when they bite you, we become crazy". We realised the manager who was seating everyone was really polite to Caucasians but not Indians. Even when we were placing our orders, the waitor was like oh it's spicy you need extra large rice and we're like erm we have been coming to Thailand for the last 18 years, we know our Thai food. They were shocked when we ordered more than they expected - I mean if the food is excellent, you will order more right? Suddenly, they were a little nicer seeing how much we ordered. The worst service experience in all of Samui to be brutally honest - almost unwelcoming but the food is worth enduring a lil disrespect.”

“The restaurant was very full, and the staff were quite friendly. The food did take a little while to arrive, but honestly, it was absolutely delicious. This is the most refined Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. No wonder they won a Michelin award — if you ever get the chance, you definitely have to try it at least once.”

“A big feast after a week of detox. Recommended by social media and its a michelin star restaurant. I ordered stir fried crispy pork with basil, pandan leaves chicken, stir fried fish with red curry, tom yum shrimp hotpot, stir fried shrimps with garlic chillies and pepper for 2 people. Stir fried crispy pork with basil, the least favourite dish for me. The pork is fine if it doesn’t get the sauce you get the crunch of the skin. The sauce itself doesn’t suit my taste. Pandan leaves chicken, meat is tender. The aroma is nice, recommended to eat with rice to water down the saltiness. Stir fried fish with red curry, fish is very tender despite the look and Its spicy. The portion is small, more like an appetizer size. Tom yum shrimp hotpot, tastes delicious. Be careful if you eat chilli inside the soup isvery spicy, if not spicy level just okay. Everything inside is delicious however shrimp meat tastes bland. Stir fried shrimps with garlic chillies and pepper, shrimp is more flavourful but still bland but the chillie and pepper makes it so much better. Overall, almost all the dishes I ordered are very delicious, but i get a thirsty feeling for a day after I ate here no matter the amount of water I drank its doesn’t quench the thirst.”
