“The restaurant is located at the bottom of the resort at the beach level. The best part of the whole experience was waiting in the top reception lobby with a breathtaking view (see image). The service is exceptional as is the standard in the Four Seasons resort and as expected is also kept in the restaurant. The staff was attentive and polite with meticulous setting of the table and serving us. The presentation of the food and table setup were professional and elegant. Sadly, the food itself was very disappointing and below our expectations. The bread and spreas we got as the restaurant's starter were ok, the breas felt not so fresh and stale / chewy. We got a Wagyu salad starter which was nice and by far the best dish we had. For mains we got the green curry with chicken and a club sandwich. The curry was ok, nothing bad but we had much better curries in any of the modest family ran restaurants on the island that we visited. The club sandwich was below our expectations for such a simple dish, it is not the local cuisine but you expect at least proper execution and fresh high quality ingredients especially when paying these prices. The bread felt cheap and rather dry, there was barely any sauce in the sandwich itself it was very dry. The french fries that were served with it felt stale and at best industrial from a bag. It is not crazy expensive luxury dining but still given the reputation of the Four Seasons and very attractive low prices of food almost everywhere, it is hard to feel that it is not overpriced and under delivering for it's cost.”

“Pla Pla is located in the four season which is beautiful and has the most stunning views and vibes. After a golf cart drive down you enter the restaurant and greeted with great service. The menu had a solid balance of options i got the hummus and the pesto pasta which was great. The spaghetti ragu my cousin got wasn’t as good but besides that everything else was amazing. The shrimp starter was fresh and tasty with the sauce. Overall was a great vibe and you can see the private beach the ocean and the pool area on the other side. Definitely worth a trip for a fancy dinner or a cute lunch for a date as well. the pricing wasn’t as bad as it could have been, which i was surprised about. roughly 1000baht a head minimum with starter and main.”
“The atmosphere is great and the views are stunning. Service was also on a very high level. However the food was mediocre. The pasta was undercooked and the gnocchi had an overpowering taste of just basil. Prices are pretty high compared to other places on the island and it’s definitely not worth the money.”
“I had an unforgettable experience at Pla Pla in Four Seasons Koh Samui, made all the more special thanks to the warmth and generosity of Mr. Akshay. What started as a solo lunch turned into one of the most meaningful and enjoyable afternoons of my trip. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Akshay made me feel genuinely welcome. He joined me for a portion of the lunch, offering thoughtful company and conversation that felt natural and kind—never forced. His passion for the property shone through in every moment. After the meal, he graciously offered to show me around the beachside and the accessible parts of the property surrounding the restaurant. The way he walked me through the space—with both pride and gentleness—made me appreciate the Four Seasons ethos on a deeper level. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a curated experience that made me consider the soul of the resort. The food, by the way, was nothing short of phenomenal—refined yet comforting. Every dish was prepared with care, balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. The service staff was attentive without being intrusive, and every interaction carried that signature Thai graciousness. The beachside setting, the sound of the waves, the sunlight shimmering off the sea—everything came together to create an atmosphere that was serene yet vibrant. The breeze, the lush greenery, the pristine layout—it all felt like a glimpse of paradise. Thank you to the Pla Pla team, and especially to Mr. Akshay, for making this a truly special experience. I left with a full heart and a deeper appreciation for the kind of hospitality that Four Seasons does best.”
“Fresh and tasty food, great spot for outdoor dining. We weren’t staying in the hotel, but just booked a lunch. Important to make reservation in advance. Gorgeous view over the private hotel beach. Very hot, but well covered under the shaded pergola.”
