It was truly a wonderful evening, filled with warmth and comfort — it felt like we were spending time among close friends. The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredibly cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying every moment. The Swiss barbecue was absolutely fantastic: there was a great variety of dishes, and every single one of them was delicious. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. We visited with my husband and daughter, and we were all absolutely delighted — with the food, the service, and the overall experience. This is definitely a place we would love to come back to again and again!

Had a meal at this perfect location. Everything on the menu looked great, so I went for a recommendation from Thomas the owner. I'm moving to Koh Samui soon and this will definitely become a regular spot.

The food at Rostiland was pleasing to the palette. However, we were taken back by the attitude of the owner when we were asking questions and ordering food. My partner asked if we could share the raclette and the owner was flabbergasted that we would even suggest that we would share a meal. We have been travelling for well over two months and we typically share a meal as we find the portions are generally too large. He went on about a portion is a portion and that is how we should order it, a portion for my partner and a portion for myself, or a meal apiece. My partner than asked about sharing a different meal, the meat loaf, and would that be suitable to share. At that point the owner asked if the sharing of meals was a financial issue. What a rude, unacceptable thing to say to a paying customer. The cost of the meal has never been the problem but rather portion size. We felt extremely insulted by his accusation of it being the cost of the meal, not the fact that too large a portion is a waste of food. The meat loaf, which we did share was very tasty, but I believe the owner should be careful with his accusatory statements.
