“We visited Samui Aquarium & Tiger Zoo with mixed expectations after reading very different reviews. On one hand, the place appears clean and there are many beautiful animals, including colorful fish, birds, raccoons, tigers, and otters. For children, it may seem like an exciting opportunity to see animals up close. However, as someone who truly loves animals, this place broke my heart. Seeing tigers kept in small cages, pacing in circles in the same spot, was deeply upsetting. The raccoon looked sad and lonely. The otters seemed desperately hungry, as if they would do anything for a small piece of food. At the end of the visit, tourists can take photos with tigers or tiger cubs. The cubs are placed in visitors' arms for just a few quick photos and then taken away immediately, which felt very unnatural and uncomfortable. I understand that many families and children may enjoy seeing these animals, but for adults who care deeply about animal welfare, this experience can be heartbreaking. I do not want to leave a harsh review, because the staff may be doing their best within the circumstances. But in my honest opinion, wild animals belong in nature, where they can live freely and with dignity. This visit left me feeling very sad and reminded me how cruel humans can sometimes be toward animals.”

“The most creepiest animal house I've ever visited. One ticket offered you the thrill and wonder. How wonderful! This is actually the thrill house and prison not zoo or aquarium. You should make your understanding correctly in advance. My kids relentlessly said he wants to leave immediately, which never happens before. The scare and uncomfortable feelings are real. These atmospheres are built into this thrill house from the inside out. May god spares these poor lives and never falls into this hell in their reincarnation”
“I'm far from being an animal activist. Sometimes, animals are genuinely better off in zoos than in the wild. This place seems to be breeding animals; there are a lot of them, but they don't have proper conditions. This place has good potential if it were developed and provides better food for the animals.”
“Huge, amazing, underrated place 🙌👍👏 we enjoyed a lot. Very clean and refurbished. My son loved it. We fed otters, fish, monkeys, tigers.. spent so much time on food but it was very interesting for us and we enjoyed to support this business 🥰😍🙏”
“We thought that the place was well maintained, and the animals were well taken care of. The tigers looked clean and healthy. The only concern was with the otters, since they looked like they really wanted to jump out. I’m not sure if that’s normal, since we typically see them swimming happily in other zoos. The staff were very nice! I haven’t spoken to a single rude person in there. Overall, totally worth the visit.”
