After years of chasing a suspension rattle that kept getting worse, and after visiting three other workshops on Koh Samui with no results, David was the first person willing to properly diagnose my custom Profender suspension setup. David’s mechanical knowledge is next level. You can immediately tell he is highly trained and extremely experienced. He identified the issue straight away but was honest that the specific parts needed had to come from Profender. Instead of sending me away, his wife Goong went above and beyond, calling around and finding a specialist 4x4 Profender workshop and even offering to take my car there for me due to my work schedule. Both David and Goong speak excellent English, are incredibly friendly, and genuinely care about their customers. Professional, honest, and reliable. Rare to find on the island.”

“This was my second visit to Samui Automotive and it confirmed why they are the best on Koh Samui. After having suspension work done in Surat Thani, I still had a very faint rattling noise that was getting worse. I could not pinpoint it at all. David heard it immediately. On the lift, he inspected everything and found multiple contact points and loose bolts that others had missed. The main culprit was a hidden side cover sitting between rubber mounts, causing an intermittent rattle that only happened on certain bumps. That level of attention, hearing, and experience is something only a top mechanic has. In my opinion, David is the best mechanic on Koh Samui. Fair pricing, no upselling, and honest work.”
