“It’s a really good hotel and really good vibes. We extended the stay up to almost 2 weeks. Can’t explain how much we like this place :-) The staffs, I would like to thank you them for providing such a nice service every day. They are all caring for the customers and really helpful. Thank you so much ka. ❤️ The rooms are all located in the middle of the beautiful garden. Everyday you would wake up and see the beautiful nature in front of you. The food at the restaurant is also great as well. Another thing we like is that it’s not noisy, it’s such a calm and relaxing place with the good vibe. Such a peaceful place to stay. So we would like to come back here next time. We hope to see you again 😄 Thank you so much!”

“This place has the potential to be great with some updating and more care for residents. I think the previous reviews are very flattering as we did not enjoy our stay. Rooms are very dated and bathrooms terrible, poor shower and you can’t flush paper. Shabby curtains, bedding etc. It has a small pool next to the restaurant, although small its quite nice and modern. It only has 7 loungers at the pool so you will be lucky to get one. Outside folk can use the facilities all day as long as they spend 250 Baht so you will find randoms using the loungers and in the pool, leaving no room for residents. There are loungers on the beach but they are filthy and not set up each day. There is very loud music at pool/ restaurant that plays all day. Owner sits about the bar/ restaurant playing loud videos on his phone. Felt dirty here the whole time as there are no proper paths round the resort and the sand just gets everywhere. My feet were black walking in the room with no shoes. Positives - it’s a nice setting and you get lots of bottled water each day in your room, restaurant Kirati next door is good. Happy hour BOGOF for certain cocktails is ok and they left a valentine gift in our room which was a nice touch I could not wait to leave and would not stay here again.”
“Paid only 60 € per night but even that was too much. The room above the reception was very dated and dirty. Brownish stains all over the walls, layers of dust in places that would be extremely easy to clean etc. Plus the huge cockroach I had to evict from the room. The pool and the common areas were in a somewhat better condition apart from the plastic sunbeads that had seen better days. Also the smell of seweage in the reception was pretty nasty. However, the bed in the room was the worst part of the experience. The matress was extremely bouncy and you could feel every spring. I woke up every time my partner moved even an inch. Impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The staff at the reception weren’t exactly rude but didn’t say hello, didn’t ask how our stay was, didn’t offer to order a taxi to the airport, didn’t help with our luggage etc. I don’t necessarily need all that but in every other hotel in Thailand the staff at least bothered to say hello when passing by. Couple of positives; the location on the beach was good, and the breakfast was decent. The pool itself was also okay.”
“Samui Honey Cottages is a cozy beachfront hotel with a warm and relaxing atmosphere by Choengmon Beach. The rooms are clean and peaceful, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A perfect place for a quiet and comfortable seaside getaway 🌴”
“Dear Hotel, I’ve been going coming back to your hotel for like 10 years and was always happy to be there, but must say that the last two years and especially this one the quality of the furniture like 🛌 bed mattress or the mattress next to the pool are extremely bad! you should please invest and renovate the furniture, especially the mattresses Even this year I’ve been 3x at your hotel, but mattresses are unacceptable - like a roller coaster / because they’ve been used maybe for 10 years - and those mattresses next to the pool come on they are disgusting. Luke, I have a hotel back home each year. I try to sleep at my hotel in many of the rooms only this way I can see but the quality is 110%. I recommend the owner to do the same. I hope when the owner of the hotel will read my review he will understand that I’m trying to help with this review. Sorry to write this such a feedback. I’m just trying to help you. I hope next year when I’m come back, it will get better. 🙌🙏”
