Samui Orchid The Ocean Beach Resort

There were problems with the water in the room — it was flowing very weakly or not at all, it was yellow and had a very bad smell. It may have been due to the heavy rain beforehand, hard to say. The beach is not suitable for swimming, as it is very shallow. No one takes care of the beach, even though it is basically only for the hotel and a few nearby houses. The hotel does not maintain it, so when the wind blows, there is a lot of trash everywhere. There is also a lot of mess around the resort.

Basic rooms with air con. Needs some renos. Very quiet and spacious resort on the beach. Great restaurant close by. Great for those not seeking nightlife or who have scooters.

A nice hotel complex right by the sea with several swimming pools. Unfortunately, the complex is marginal maintained. Nevertheless, I liked it there because it is in a very quiet location. However, the hotel is a bit remote, so you need a motorcycle or car to get around.
