“Location: 15 minutes walk to Lamai beach and all bars, pubs and restaurants. On the main road, so you can hear every motorbike, car and truck driving by. And those ARE noisy. If you are looking for peace and quiet and relaxation, this is not the place. Breakfast: terrible. No food warmers, so everything was cold (eggs, omelet, spring rolls, bacon, french fries), burned soggy spring rolls and waffles. The quality of the coffee depended on who was preparing it, some days it was good, some other days it was not. In a paradise of fruits, they only offered watermelon and pineapple. I went out and bought cheese and other fruits. I don't know who would find this breakfast "good". If you don't function without a proper breakfast, look somewhere else. Cleanliness: the rooms were only cleaned if you requested. Hand towels were never replaced, bath towels were old, worn out not very clean, yellowish and stained. I sent them back twice. Basic toiletries (tiny bars of soap which I had to request to replenish and low quality shampoo and shower gel). I bought hair conditioner and body lotion myself. There were few pool towels available, very old and worn out. Facilities: no proper restaurant on site. I didn't have hot water for my entire stay (7 days), despite me informing them and being assured the issue was solved. All i got was lukewarm water for shower. They offered bath robes as well, old, worn out and off white (once upon a time they were white). No TV in the room, no bathtub. Staff: friendly and smiling, indeed, but they don't speak English. Have your google translate ready. Value for money: none. I found it way overpriced for what it offered. This was my first time in Samui and I was looking forward to it, but the place spoiled the overall experience. I made the best out of it by booking tours and activities to compensate.”
