“The two gems of the restaurant are the view and Luukmee, one of the servers, unfortunately not the food. Besides being a pretty good waitress, Lukmee is an astonishing photographer. We actually came and ate here 4 times (ok ok, I drank 4 times) while the Ms’s and Luukmee ran around taking pictures. Well done Banyan Tree for having such a treasure working with you.”

“We had fantastic BBQ night with live music and fire swirling show which is not to be missed. BBQ buffet includes lot of seafoods, pork, chicken, and different choices of salads , soup, hot dishes and more dessert. Beach provides lots of activities, we special thanks to Banyan Tree staff, Nook who is our very kind personal coach brings us to morning jogging, sailing, house reef snorkeling class, soccer, he is very professional and always smile , a work hard friendly person also provides us pre and post services, such as towels, waters, mint water spray and more fruits!!!”
“I ordered the carpaccio and the prawn linguine. Both were great but very pricey. In terms of service, it was relatively slow and all the food came at different times (like 30 minutes apart from one another). My friend and I saw our prepared food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes, with no waiter around or even bothering to attend to it. It came to the point where my friend and I had to walk to the counter ourselves and take the food back to our table. The waiter also didn’t know how to split the bill. The atmosphere was nice at the beachfront until it hit 7PM… then all the flies from the jungle started attacking our table and the waiters barely did anything about it. We had to carry all our stuff to a table indoors by ourselves. Knowing that there is a massive fly problem at this hour, I encourage the staff to light more incense at that time and make sure guests aren’t placed right next to the jungle.”
“At first, I was a bit unsure about the quality after reading the reviews, but it's one of the best restaurants in Asia that I've been to - excellent service, delicious and large portions, and a view of the most beautiful beach I've seen. Prices are high, but manageable.”
“I would like to give more stars simply for the service. The employees were were kind and we got a few complimentary snacks & a coconut. Sadly the beach is private, which is illegal in Thailand. Therefore I will not give it any more starts. The prices were also high to the point I almost fainted. Wouldn’t come again, but made sure to tip the employees.”
