My stay at Shankara in Thailand was simply unforgettable. Everything about this place felt special, intentional, and deeply soulful. Playing tennis with a breathtaking view over the sea was an experience I’ll never forget moments like that remind you how rare true luxury really is. The service was flawless, yet never intrusive. Every interaction felt genuine, warm, and perfectly timed. What truly set Shankara apart were the small, thoughtful details. The team noticed my personal habits and even adapted the arrangement of my room to match how I naturally organize my belongings. Those subtle gestures made me feel truly seen and cared for, not just hosted. Shankara is more than a beautiful place it has a soul. You feel it in the atmosphere, in the people, and in the way everything flows so naturally. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. I cannot recommend it enough. This is hospitality at its finest.

Shankara is as good as it gets. Truly as close as you could get to perfection. They have thought of everything from amenities to facilities. There is everything one would need for an exceptional holiday retreat. You could stay there the full week without ever leaving the premises. The attention to details, from the staff to the decoration in the rooms and throughout the property is truly exceptional. It has been built and designed with impeccable taste. The food (especially the Thai!) is the best I have had on the island. Spy and Irufan along with the rest of the staffing team have made Shankara a real paradise.

My husband, I and our friends had an amazing one week in Shankara Samui. It was our first time here on the island, and the stay was so wonderful that we honestly felt like home. Service and the team were top notch, thoughtful and well-organised. The food was very authentic, delicious but very healthy. Our room and the facilities were spectacular, especially the water pressure which is so stable and it’s rare on islands usually. If we were to come back to Koh Samui again, Shankara would be our first choice
