Santiburi Koh Samui Resort

WE actually stayed from May 26th to June 1st and liked it so much that we returend from June 5th to the 7th. We had two wonderful stays at your hotel and felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our visit. A special highlight was the Muay Thai trial training session for our 8-year-old son, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were also delighted by the appreciation that we returned to the resort very well recognized by the team and a hand-written welcome note by Director of Rooms, which added a very personal touch to our stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering a great selection and highest quality. Overall, everything was simply wonderful, and we greatly appreciated the warm hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

We had a pleasant stay at Santiburi Koh Samui. The property itself is stunning, though there were a few service and dining hiccups that kept it from being a flawless 5-star experience. The Highlights: * The Villa: Our villa was wonderful—very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and came with a fantastic, spacious outdoor area that was a highlight of our trip. * Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was quite good with a nice variety of tasty options to start the day. * The Staff: For the most part, the team here is friendly and welcoming, with a few exceptions. Areas for Improvement: * Pool Maintenance: We experienced a leak in our villa pool during our stay. While the team attempted to fix it, it wasn't fully resolved, and we would have appreciated a small gesture or compensation for the inconvenience. Unfortunately nothing of the kind was ever offered to us. * Communication & Dining: The breakfast restaurant staff had a low level of English comprehension which made communication a bit tricky at times. We also felt the restaurants—particularly the beach restaurant—could be improved. The seafood was a bit disappointing and felt overpriced for the quality. * Beach Service & Spa: While most interactions were great, the beach service staff could be a bit more polite and welcoming. Additionally, the spa was just okay for the price; the massages were a bit inconsistent, turning out either too light or a bit too firm. Overall: It’s a gorgeous resort with excellent villas and a lot going for it. With a few adjustments to the dining and staff training, it could easily be a top-tier luxury stay!

Had to change hotels last minute as the one we booked wasn’t safe for our child. We drove around and looked at some options and this was a clear winner. Stayed 8 days. Stunning grounds, warm and professional staff, hotel food is outstanding and we had some of the best Thai food we had in Thailand at their lobby restaurant. Beautiful pool, beautiful clean beach. Just luxury. We travelled with an infant who also enjoyed the kids play room, pool and beach toys and playful attention from the staff. Thank you again for cleaning up after my messy baby after every meal 🙏 highly recommend.
