“Sawan pool villas leaves much to be desired. That being said, the amenities present are good and work well. However, some of the cabinets were broken upon arrival, the living area had no blackout curtains like the rooms, and the fan in the living room had one speed, super sonic. Overall i would still recommend you give this place a try. P.S. you do have to pay for the electricity too, which is understandable”

“Hii Melanie, I give you 1 star of your service and reply, I don't know what are your position in Sawan, but you sounds like a superior with a vulga attitude. By the way, your staff is very good, polite and much more professional and courteousness, anyone in this business would consider to grab your staff but isn't you Melanie. If I remember your name still. This is what we get staying in your Villa. Villa 18 if not mistaken, I have forgotten, wanna delete this 😭 memory in Koh Samui. Koh Samui is a Paradise anyway after early check out from your AGED Villa Melanie. Don't say or feel sorry anymore, I leave this comment here as I am returning to Samui again real soon.”
“The staff are the shining stars here. We did run into some problems with spotty electricity in our villa but the staff was very kind and responsive to our concerns. They were able to move us to another villa and we are much more comfortable now. The company would do well to add a couple of armchairs to the villas as indoor seating is limited. Outdoor seating is plentiful. The pool has been wonderful. It’s quiet and private. Close proximity to good restaurants and beaches.”
“My family stayed for 12 nights and we enjoyed it. The location is great, the property is a bit old but good enough for the price. It would be great if the living room has an air-con. The air conditioning wasn’t enough in the day time.”
“We stayed in Sawan Poolvilla for 5 months with our two children. The location is good, close to Lamai beach, the market and the centre of Lamai, all in walking distance. The outdoor area in the villa is nice, big pool and garden with a nice veranda. The villa is old, the kitchen is not very functional with only two cooking plates ( old style) and small fridge, old furniture and only cold water in the tap. Bedrooms have hard mattresses and the bathrooms are very small and almost falling apart. Things need to be upgraded to meet the standards of to day. The receptionist on site was always helpful to us and tried to sort problems out with the owner of the villa. The manager on the other hand was never responding to our messages or calls when we wanted to move after 6 months. We had a 1 year contract, and lost 1 month rent for leaving earlier. That we fully understood, the problem started when we wanted the damage deposit back and some overpayment from the electric bill. In the contract the deposit should be paid back the day of checking out, it took us 16 days to receive some of the money ( she kept 5100 baht of our money) after using many hours to try to get in reach of her. She promised several times to pay the money the same day, but didn`t. Lying and being rude accusing us of going after her staff ( which we had to, since she blocked our phone calls). Tried to talk to her staff which couldn`t do anything because the manager had told them. STAY AWAY from this business, they only want your money, even holding back money which is not their. 65 000 baht for long term rental per month + water 1000 baht is a rip off due to the standard you get! 8 baht per KwH for electricity is way to much in Samui. I will never recommend anyone staying at this place due to the bad and dishonest owners.”
