“I had a very disappointing experience at this nightclub. While I was dancing, my money was stolen. Before entering, I exchanged $100, and by the end of the night all of it was gone. I immediately reported the theft to security, expecting them to take the matter seriously, but they completely ignored me and showed no interest in helping or investigating what happened. As a tourist, this made me feel extremely unsafe and unsupported. When guests report theft, security should at least make an effort to assist rather than act as if they don’t care. Based on my experience, visitors should be very careful with their belongings in this venue. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and concerned about the lack of security and customer care.”

“I visited Sound Club on January 17 at around 00:45, and it was one of the worst club experiences I’ve had in Koh Samui. At the entrance, security claimed they required passports or IDs for entry, but this rule was clearly applied selectively. Non-white guests were stopped and questioned, while white customers were allowed inside without showing anything. It felt discriminatory and uncomfortable. Things got worse when I took a simple photo of the front gate to send to my friend so they could pick me up outside. Security immediately approached me aggressively and demanded that I delete the photo. Their behavior was threatening and completely unprofessional. Inside the club, the staff and servers were uninterested in helping customers and showed no basic hospitality. Overall, the environment felt unwelcoming, rude, and unfair. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful treatment.”
“Brilliant nights there. However last night, was playing pool upstairs and tapping cue to the music. The man behind the bar came up to me, slapped me and snatched the cue out of my hand. We continued to play and 10 mins later, the ball fell off of the table. Just a silly mistake? Once again, the man behind the bar came marching up, snatched out cues and potted all of the balls. Had an amazing time there (for most of the time) except form that night. 4/5 nights there were brilliant. I would 100% recommend sound club to anybody however just be careful if you’re playing pool upstairs.”

“Absolutely electric night at Sound Club Samui hands down one of the best clubs on the Chaweng strip. The atmosphere is pure fire: those purple lights, massive sound system, and a DJ who properly knows how to keep the dancefloor packed till stupid o’clock. Drinks were spot on and decently priced (solid cocktails around 300 baht), service quick even when it was rammed. Didn’t bother with food, but who does at a place like this? If you want a proper night out on Samui, this is it. 5 stars, already planning the next one.”
