“A super hotel with great service. I really appreciated two pools, one labeled «quiet pool» only surrounded by adults. Great and comfortable sun beds with generous amount of towels and complimentary servings of fruit and juice once per day. Breakfast is fantastic, not buffet style but orders taken from a rich menu with a lot to offer. Rooms are kept nice even if the hotel is old. The bed was comfortable and bathroom big and nice. I stayed at a Page room at second floor with a private balcony that was nice for early mornings and evenings. Library sits directly on the beach allowing for ocean swims and beach walks any time of day. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.”
“The Library Koh Samui is one of those rare places that feels like a concept and a real retreat — I’ve stayed three times now, and it keeps pulling me back. It’s a design hotel built like a book: the “content” starts at reception, the rooms are the “pages,” and the villas feel like secret chapters with their own special atmosphere. And then there’s the iconic red pool — alone worth the stay. An oasis right on Chaweng Beach, but tucked away from the noise and chaos. What I love most is what it gives me: creative energy and the space to write. Breakfast is à la carte, which instantly brings calm to the morning — no buffet rush, just good coffee and a quiet start to the day. Service is attentive and exactly on point: present when you need it, never over the top. It’s a small design hotel without the attitude of a big luxury brand — and that’s precisely the charm. Every time I leave, I feel genuinely rested, grounded, and already looking forward to coming back.”

The design and concept of the hotel are amazing—very distinctive and unlike typical resorts, which makes the whole experience feel special. The service overall is impeccable. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, always making sure everything is taken care of and that guests feel comfortable throughout their stay. The location is another big highlight. It has easy access to the beach and is perfectly situated—everything you might need is within walking distance, including restaurants, massage places, beauty salons, transport options, and even shopping areas. The only downside was the service at the breakfast area, which felt quite slow compared to the rest of the hotel experience. That said, overall it’s an amazing stay and a very unique hotel that I would definitely recommend.”

The staff are simply amazing — always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile make every stay feel special and personal. The design of the hotel is beautiful, modern, and very unique. The atmosphere is calm, stylish, and perfectly in harmony with the surroundings. Every detail feels thoughtfully created and contributes to the very special character of this place. A special highlight for us are the Secret Chapter Villas, which are absolutely stunning. And the Writer villa in particular is simply incredible — spacious, elegant, extremely private, and designed with so much attention to detail. It’s the kind of place where you immediately relax and never want to leave. For us, The Library is much more than just a hotel. It’s a place we love returning to again and again, where we always feel welcome and completely at home. Highly recommended for design lovers and couples looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway away from the typical big hotel chains.”
