“Absolutely amazing experience at Trap House Samui! From the moment we arrived, the team was incredible so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You can really feel the positive energy and passion behind this place. The service was flawless and made us feel truly taken care of. “This place has serious soul. The kind of spot you walk into and immediately feel the vibe — warm, genuine, no pretense. The Wray & Nephew speaks for itself — whoever is behind that bar truly respects the rum. And the rum punch? Dangerously good. The kind you’re still thinking about the next day. 🥃 Then the Jamaican patties arrive and suddenly you’re nowhere near Thailand anymore. Flaky, golden, packed with flavour — completely authentic and absolutely addictive. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a little piece of Jamaica dropped right into Samui. A total gem. Go. 🇯🇲🔥”
“Because it was off-season, we were alone all evening... a shame because this place is highly recommended! The food was fantastic, the view is amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly! We chose this spot to avoid being surrounded by Instagrammers ;) Tip: the shuttle taxi is waiting down the hill, don't go up by motorbike!”
“There is nothing negative to say about this place. I went on a weekday for lunch because the electricity had gone out on Samui (a usual occurrence on rainy days). Sky Lounge had a generator running. I was the only patron there, & I was greeted warmly & treated with the utmost respect & attention. I had two different rum cocktails—sublime. The jerk chicken, rice/beans, & coleslaw—delicious. I’ve not had such flavourful, tender chicken in a very long time. The lady who served me was attentive & kind, while allowing me alone time to enjoy the view, sip my rum, & feel the tropical breeze. I look forward to returning to Sky Lounge on my next visit to Samui. This place proves that not all quality establishments have to be on the beach, in the middle of the chaotic nightlife.”
