“Just spent 9 nights at the Sarann, and had the best stay! We booked through a travel agent so had an all inclusive package. We stayed in a pool villa (102) and it was spacious, had 2 separate rooms in one villa-one living room with tv, couch, bar fridge) and one huge bed/bath room- and a huge deck with bean bags, our private pool, and a table setting. It was so lovely and private. The staff were absolutely amazing the whole stay, so helpful! If you want an amazing Thai massage- the spa is the place to get it! I walked out feeling like I was floating! The restaurant is good! Although limited with choices, if you are on the inclusive packaging. I feel like they may dumb down some Thai food, I had to ask for salt a few times to get some flavour. I read through some reviews before I left and would love to clear some things up- Yes there are no footpaths- but you can walk along the road safely- literally the traffic will move out of the way for you, and the 7/11 is like 10 mins walk up the road- we never felt unsafe walking Yes it may seem like you are in the middle of nowhere- but they have an amazing shuttle for free , can get a ride back for 400 baht- after 4-5 hours out and about - that was worth it for us . Also the stray dogs- they are so freaking polite- they just crave some interaction- I wanted to bring them home. They won’t bother you unless you want them to . There is absolutely no way they enter the resort We had a beautiful stay at the sarann. I could not praise the staff enough, they were helpful, friendly and attentive”

“Small property but well laid out. We got the ocean front villa with plunge pool right at the water's Edge. Approximately 1300.square feet. Own sun bathing deck. Well worth it. Restaurant was serving very good food and the breakfast spread was all very good. Only difficulty was entering the driveway on fast road with a curve.”
“We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a lovely time. We booked the jacuzzi villa and found it spacious and comfortable. The road noise didn't bother us or disturb our sleep even though my partner can be sensitive to noise. That said, the cheaper rooms closer to the road may be noisier. The pool is lovely and the nearby beach is OK with a new bar next door although we had a car and drove to beaches elsewhere on the island. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even calling a tour company and sorting things out when the wrong people got into our pick-up van.”
“Sea-view rooms with private pool are great value for Samui. Would stay in the sea-view rooms again, other rooms - no point, there are much nicer hotels for rooms without view. Service could have been much better. Breakfast is average. They should also install shelves in the wardrobe.”
“We had a VERY DISAPPOINTING stay at this hotel. The manager and receptionists were quite unprofessional, which made it the worst experience for my family and me. The room was VERY NOISY as it was next to the highway and it wasn’t sound proof, making it hard for us to relax. When we requested to change to a quieter room or a smaller villa, the manager rudely suggested we should sleep in the maid's room. Furthermore, her flirtatious behavior with a French guest in front of his wife was awkward and unprofessional. Consequently, we decided to check out immediately and booked for a way better hotel and staff, but unfortunately, we didn't receive ANY proper apologies from them, no refund, neither compensation from the management. What a waste! Please don’t waste your money and time in this hotel! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼”
