The View Restaurant at Melati Beach Resort & Spa is known for its relaxing views overlooking Thongson Bay on Koh Samui Island in Thailand. While tasty, the food is a bit pricier than other places and may take quite a long time to arrive. Details below 🕵🏻‍♂️🥢 While the service staff is very friendly, sometimes takes the food takes forever to arrive. Really turned our evening sour when we waited 54 minutes for our meal to be delivered finally around 9:50pm. Hungry, bored, and left with the hotel’s slow WiFi we almost left to order delivery from outside the hotel. Last call is at 10pm/22:00 so we weren’t even able to place an order for dessert even though we were still hungry from the small portion once we were finally able to eat… The restaurant offers a mix of international and Thai cuisine, focusing on fresh seafood and local ingredients. Guests can enjoy their meals in a stylish, open-air setting, perfect for taking in the decent sunset views, as the sun sets on a non visible side from where you sit here. The restaurant also offers a selection of fine wines and cocktails to complement the dining experience. Service available in English, Spanish and Thai. Wheelchair accessible location and handicap friendly. Some vegan options as well as menu options for children. Parking included as hotel parking. Located on the opposite side of the entrance, right next to the beach. Outdoor, roofed sitting only. No climate control besides a few fans here and there. Some pest controls to help with mosquitoes, but sometimes not enough. Also some roaches roaming the deck at night. Flies during the day. Beware the wind can blow items into your face, including some of the smaller menu sheets.

Food was mid, some dishes were good some okay. Ordered 6 drinks total and only one of us finished a glass. One of the worst whiskey sours definitely, would not recommend

Kinda monopolist on this beach(though can't say its designed to accept guests from the beach) using it for the worst: highest prices, smallest portions(pay 4 to buy 2 to eat the default sized 1). Food is ok qualify ofc, but really nothing special. Waitress was tired of life itself. If you can walk, why not grant her rest...
