“I cannot recommend highly enough! We had one of the most significant evenings of our lives there, as I proposed to my partner. The entire experience was simply perfect. I would especially like to highlight the incredible attention to detail and the excellent service provided by Kwan and her entire team. “A great restaurant right on the beach. I went there in June. It was very relaxed. The waitress, Ice, is very attentive, super friendly and lovely. The food was really very good. Even though the prices are a bit higher, it’s good value for money. I’d definitely recommend it.”
“The Tent breakfasts were fabulous. Continental buffet stations were varied, plentiful, fresh and delicious. The portioned cooked options were fabulously sized and varied and team very happy to adjust to suit your preferred tastes. But in all hospitality establishments it's the team who make a restaurant. Sao, Beam, Minnie, Ying, Ice, Jenny and Mo are an awesome team. They are super friendly, caring and genuine. A fabulous hotel team.”
“A wonderful first evening in this lovely restaurant. Delicious three course dinner, compliments to the chef, with a panoramic view on the Golf of Thailand. Our waitress Kung was a delight, super friendly, kind and helpful. It was a delight to be here and enjoy good food and good company. Happy to have met Kung, a perfect example of Thailand's hospitalty. We will be back. ❤️”
“The Saturday night dinner buffet spread was good and reasonably priced for their selections and offerings. Items that I especially fancied were the grilled prawn and sea bass, tastes fresh and nicely enjoyed. The salad was also offered in various selections. Precursor, the cocktails at happy hour during sundown was done incredibly well and the mixture was absolutely spot on. However, this is not five stars because the service felt inconsistent and careless at times. One of the waitresses set this tone when the champagne was poured into the flute but it appeared that she doesn't quite grasp taking the time to serve the effervescent bubbles to prevent overflowing- and yes the overflow did happen with two glasses. There was also another waitress who took away my unfinished glass of wine without asking, when there was a new bottle coming in. Basic etiquette of asking patrons when they've finished their drinks is apparently not a rooted DNA of this place. Second, it was raining that night, so I left my umbrella by the entrance. After dinner, it was gone. While I understand another guest may have taken it, in a hotel restaurant where there were many diners around but still there were many staff present, basic oversight and security should be a part of the service- especially for a highly priced hotel chain. I appreciate that the staff did try to help look for it seemingly, but I had to leave urgently and still ended up losing my useful goods on a rainy day. I did not hear of my umbrella at all; and friends and company were still at the scene enjoying the remaining hours of the evening as I had to leave early. Better care and attentiveness could use some work. After this experience, this gets me asking myself whether I should leave my belonging (such as my umbrella) at the entrance when I can't be sure of its safety and security at such places - even at these so called upscale dining / hotel establishments; or, whether the why the umbrella box/ stand is offered at all... I can only imagine more immense pain of losing a more costly items from this negligence, like an expensive umbrella (which luckily mine wasn't lol).”
