“Tolani was an amazing stay for my wife, my 9 month old son and I. We messaged them ahead of time asking if thye had a bottle sanitizer for our son's milk bottles which they didn't, however they organised a brand new one for our stay! The staff were so kind and helpful - we really loved staying here. Food was good, massages were great. Thank you Tolani staff for a great holiday”

“It was a wonderful resort, quiet and warm place. The view was amazing next to the beach which the restaurant is there. The guys there were very nice and smiling all time. The food was very delicious😋, I would say best food in Thailand. I recommend it for those who look for a quiet and restful”
“I stayed at Tolani Hotel Samui with fairly high expectations, but unfortunately the experience didn’t quite match up. The room I was given felt quite worn and “lived in” not in a charming way, but more like it hadn’t been properly refreshed in a long time. You could see signs of aging in several details, and overall it didn’t give that clean, well maintained feeling you’d expect at this level. What was more surprising is that the hotel was practically empty during my stay, yet no upgrade or even small perks were offered. This is where the guest relations really fell short. Even basic gestures that make a guest feel welcomed or valued were missing, which made the experience feel a bit cold and transactional. The property itself is huge, which on paper sounds great, but in reality it can feel a bit too spread out and lacking atmosphere when occupancy is low. It almost gives a slightly abandoned vibe in certain areas, especially during quieter times of the day. The beach is another mixed point it’s wide and scenic, but during low tide the water goes very far out, making it difficult to actually swim or enjoy the sea for a good part of the day. In terms of location, it’s quite far from the main hotspots in Samui. If you’re looking to be near the action like Chaweng or even the more relaxed Fisherman’s Village in Bophut, this isn’t ideal. You’ll definitely need a scooter or car to move around comfortably, otherwise you might feel a bit isolated. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its space and setting, but the lack of attention to detail and guest experience really holds it back.”
“I have to share my experience at this incredible resort — truly 5 stars from the bottom of my heart ❤️ This place feels like a completely private resort: luxurious villas with personal pools, total peace and quiet, a breathtaking private beach, and an atmosphere that’s hard to put into words. The made-to-order breakfast was on the highest level — fresh, beautifully prepared, and tailored exactly to whatever you’re craving. But beyond all the luxury and beauty — what really made the difference was the humanity. During my stay, I experienced an unfortunate incident where a member of the staff accidentally damaged an injection containing a life-saving medication I rely on. It was stressful and upsetting. But from that moment on — I saw what true service really means. The hotel took full responsibility, acted quickly, arranged a replacement medication to be delivered to another hotel in Bangkok, and included a personal and heartfelt apology letter. Throughout the entire process, the staff were attentive, caring, and available — in a way that is truly rare. Mistakes can happen — but how they are handled is what truly matters. And here, it was handled with the highest level of humanity, professionalism, and respect. Highly recommended — not just because of the stunning place, but because of the incredible people behind it. “We had an amazing stay at Tolani Resort! The property is very beautiful and the rooms are tasteful and pleasant to stay in. We were upgraded to a room with a private pool for free which we greatly appreciate and took full advantage of! The restaurant had a very nice breakfast and other meals with Thai and western options. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area and places to try. They were also extremely kind, respectful, and communicative throughout our stay. Housekeeping was thorough and they even had someone clean the pool each day. Just keep in mind that Tolani is a bit far from some of the major attractions on Samui, but if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay with occasional quick trips into the touristy areas then this is an amazing option!”
