“Back in 2016, while visiting family in Koh Samui, we had a wonderful stay at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa. The property was beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush tropical gardens that gave it a peaceful and private atmosphere. Our villa was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our family of four—and felt like a true island retreat. The restaurant was outstanding, offering delicious Thai and international dishes, with a terrace overlooking the sea that made every meal feel special. Breakfast and dinners there were a highlight of our trip. We also loved that the hotel was within easy walking distance to Bo Phut Fisherman’s Village, where we could explore local shops, beachside bars, and night markets. Overall, it was a fantastic, relaxing stay, and one we still remember fondly. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a peaceful, authentic Koh Samui experience.”

“Zazen omg it’s amazing.Koh Samui must do ! This venue came highly recommended to us and it lived up to all expectations.On walking in through the magnificent gardens to the restaurant you are met by the most attentive staff .You will be captivated by the restaurant which is absolutely gorgeous.We had a table on the waterfront it was magnificent. We chose the seafood banquet omg to die for ….yes it was so fresh ,delicious and the presentation (see pics ) The wine list was extensive as well ,we chose a Pinot Grigio from Italy paired beautifully. Dessert was amazing Zazen has absolutely nailed it …the attention to detail,the food choices ,the atmosphere and the decor which I believe was updated maybe a year ago. I found the staff to be so engaging and happy to help with dietary requirements and above all very attentive without over doing it Not forgetting the incredible backdrop This would be an amazing venue for a function On another note I was fortunate to have their Signature Aromatherapy massage let me tell you if you can just do it !!!! Bliss so professional One last thing the gift shop was great for those last minute gifts for home”
“The atmosphere was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff paid close attention to every detail, regularly checking on us regarding the service and the quality of the food. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the spaghetti dish. I would give it a perfect 10/10! I will definitely be coming back again. 😊”
“This place is “nice” but we felt it was not very good value for the money. Everything is overpriced. The food is good, but overpriced. The staff is very nice and they do a great job- but it feels a bit forced. The clientele feels stodgy, reserved and snobby. The pictures of the room look better than in person. The “beach” is mostly a loading zone for tourist speed boats. You can’t really walk anywhere. Other than that sure I guess it was ok.”

The attention to every single detail truly impressed us – you can really see how much care and effort has been put into creating such a beautiful atmosphere. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking surroundings and a relaxing vibe that makes you feel at home instantly. The beach bar is fantastic – great drinks, wonderful ambiance, and exceptional service. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We were especially amazed by the pool area. The effort and dedication put into maintaining it and designing the space around it is outstanding. It’s clean, stylish, and perfectly arranged for both relaxation and enjoyment. Overall, we are beyond satisfied and truly impressed. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a perfect getaway!”
